Purpose

For this position:
The Business Intelligence unit plays a key role within the Product & Loyalty team to extract and analyse necessary data in order to track, simulate or validate hypotheses enabling sound business decisions to be made for prepaid, postpaid and loyalty divisions.

Key Accountabilities
Regular Report Production
  • Supporting the Product & Loyalty teams in terms of information requirements
  • Data extraction, analysis and presentation including but not limited to the following:
    • Subscriber demographics
    • Penetration Analysis
      • Monthly Internet Plans
      • IDD and Roaming
    • Revenue and Reload sources
    • Loyalty and Churn Reports
  • Fulfill ad-hoc report requests such as product or pricing simulations as required by your direct report or management.
BI Dashboard
  • To maintain Tune Talk’s BI Dashboard as per business requirements
    • Internally created or
    • Via third party partners to develop/maintain our dashboard as per business requirements
  • To ensure proper system integration and integrity of data
Secondary Responsibilities
Database Maintenance
  • Ensuring standardization of data structure for long-term ease of use
  • Conducting periodic database integrity check and clean up
  • Conducting data validity check when discrepancies occur
Marketing Support

Assist Marketing functions or internal departments on events or campaigns that involve tracking elements

Education Qualifications & Certificates
Marketing Support

Minimum a Diploma in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Analytics/Science or equivalent professional qualifications.

Work Experience
  • At least 1 year experience in Business Intelligence, Data Science/Analytics/Mining or related fields
  • Fresh graduates with required skillsets are also welcome to apply
  • Experience in Telecommunications, Marketing, Customer Experience (CX), would be added advantage
Skills, Knowledge and Abilities
Required
  • SQL / UNIX
  • Intermediate MS Office – Excel (lookup, Pivot, macros), Powerpoint
  • Good mathematical problem solving skills
  • Good spoken and written English
  • Visualization tools (e.g. MS Power BI, Tableau)
Desirable
  • Data Analysis Tools – MySQL, Amazon Redshift DB
  • Advanced Excel (e.g. PowerPivot, macro)
  • Unix
