How to get started?
Before submitting your Switch (Port-In) request, please ensure that:
Prepaid Number
Prepaid Number
- Your mobile number is not barred by any service provider.
- Make sure you are not bound to any prepaid contract (credit advance or phone contract).
- Only active mobile number is allowed to switch.
- Mobile number is registered under your name.
- MyKad or passport provided is the same as what was registered with your current service provider.
Postpaid Number
Postpaid Number
- Settle all your remaining bills with your current service provider.
- Free from any contract obligation such as phone plan contract, etc.
- All main and supplementary line(s) are not barred by any service provider.
- Principal and supplementary lines need to switch together.
- If the supplementary lines do not wish to port-out, the principal line holder must contact the current service provider for further assistance.
- Only active mobile number is allowed to switch.
- Mobile number is registered under your name.
- MyKad or passport provided is the same as what was registered with your current service provider.

Yes, it will remain as per the top up full amount, except SST charges for passport holder.
After receiving the SIM card, you will need to download the App and self-register your new SIM. Once your SIM registration successful, your switch request will be sent automatically. Please reply to the port-out SMS confirmation sent by your current telco within 24 hours to kickstart the switching process. Now you can just sit back and relax, and we will do the rest for you.
Please note that OTP/TAC services will be updated within 24-48 hours after the switch has completed. You’re also advised to contact your respective bank to inform them that you have ported into a new telco and required to update your mobile number.
You can SMS or go to your App to monitor the switch status.

Yes, a minimum top up of RM10 or a plan data is needed
No, top up is needed to make sure the new Tune Talk SIM is active before you switch.
